freaking pooped!

wow So I found this new tab.. it's called the stats tab.. lol it tells me how many views i've had on my blog.. and I'll be honest I really didn't expect that many hits on it!! I'm actually kind of excited that people out there are actually interested in reading my crazy rambles... So If you are reading and you have a google or yahoo account or even another blog please follow me! I need followers!!!So thank God for Roadside assistance! yes you guessed it, once again my car did not start this morning. I am most definitely going to have to get a new battery.. Remember I mentioned that thing about procrastination??
I am watching my very favortie new show called Heavy on A&E .. It is very very inspiring. The people on this show are to the extreme they've overcome some crazy issues and have lost hundreds of pounds. It makes me want to do more and work out more.
Just finished 30 mins of Zumba.. I'm pretty proud of myself I was extremely tired today considering I fell asleep at like midnight and then got up at 7am. I was all yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa gung hooooo this at work for like an hour and then I was like ohhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaa I wanna go to bed. I had to force myself to go to choir practise and then I got to watch Heavy and then I decided to do Zumba.. I chose Intermediate 2 which I had not done yet and it KICKED MY ASSSSSS!!! I am normally able to sweat through a 20 min workout but oh man I wanted to die after the first 10! But I ended up loving the routine.. Particularly Mawa Silah.. It's African themed and it reminds me of a dance my sister and I used to do when we were kids... It's an old African dance I'm not sure what it means but it was soo good and then another dance I loved I doooo not remember the name cause it was in Spanish but it was old style Spanish and I loved it made me wanna dance more. And there was a particular dance that on the first day I tried Zumba I could not do completely and I was able to fully do it with no probs!!!!But I am so sore I am in serious need of some A5 35!! My knees are so sore it hurts to straighten them.. Is that normal?? I figure it's just my body telling me wooooahhhhhhh girl you are just asking to be crippled!!!
Anywho like I said I am pooped and watching the craziness going on in Egypt and worried for all the Canadians left there and appauled at the suprise $2000 fee that the Canadian passengers had to pay to get on the first government funded airplane back to Canada just shocking!

rising above it all

hello bloggers! ok so I hope you like my new design of my blog and I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a week but man was it a rough week. I'm one employee short and didn't get to the gym this week at all. But on the up side I have been ZUMBA crazy all week and esp yesterday and today I did an hour each day just dancing! I love this programme soooo much.
I mentioned before that I was thinking about becoming a ZIN (Zumba Instructor) and I have decided that this will be my ultimate goal ! The certification class starts in Feb so I'm defffff not ready for that so hopefully the fall I will be able to enroll and actually start a class in my little town of Kenora.
There is a class already going on here but it's at the Rec Centre and I found it was ok but it didn't really push me plus when I actually did the moves on the playstation I noticed that the moves I was taught at the gym were completely off!
So to date I have lost 5 lbs ... yay? I think not. I'm really not happy with that plus the fact that I cheated hard on my diet too.. Well I wouldn't really call it a diet I like to call it more of a lifestyle change.. I had half a cheesecake righhtttt around the time I lost an employee:( Stress eatting is my weakness and I know back in the day I would actually be driving by the grocery store or by mcdicks and thinking "well I've had a rough day I deserve a treat." And not that I don't deserve a treat but it just goes tooooo farrrrr... I'm trying to eat clean and eat veggies and fruit and stay away from the fried crap but it's soooo good.
I meet with my trainer this wednesday yayyyyyy first class with her and I'm still going to do the Zumba at home.. check out the website http://www.zumba.com/ . This is the greatest programme I've ever seen I love to dance I am caribbean and I love to move and this programme does it all! I also found out that they have annual conventions in Florida and people from all over the world go and dance and create new moves and it's  just sooo motivating cause I will be definitely there in 2012! hopefully 50lbs lighter so I can actually do the moves and teach people too!

what a week! -40 degrees caused my car to not start this morning and when I did get it boosted by my hubby I ended up having to get it boosted again 30 minutes later by my neighbour and then boosted again a few hours later by my employee yea I'm a boost slut. Needless to say I called my car a piece of crap about four times today.
On a happy note. I bought a game for our playstation 3 called Zumba Fitness. I have been to these Zumba classes at our rec centre but man oh man it's true what they say.. White people have no rhythem.. Sorry but it's true. The instructor at the rec centre didn't do the moves half as well as the real moves! The game was 10 times more difficult and challenging! 20 minutes was like hell for me!
So it starts out as begginner 20 minutes and splits it up in 5 min incriments. It's all salsa moves and reggaeton which is the whole reason why I love it so much. I think if I reach my goal no .. not if.. WHEN i reach my goal I would like to sign up for an instructor course and maybe start my own classes. I think that if the instructor reallllllly knows what they're doing the class will be able to mimic the moves better and actually work harder.
We also got Little Big Planet 2 and oohhh man it's also a good game except of course you're sitting down and not working out.
My second week weigh in tomorrow ! I'm a little nervous.. I mean it's not like i sat on my butt all week but I did cheat a bit.. And it's not a diet it's a lifestyle change... I had a couple eggos and some friends came over last night and brough bean and avocado dip with cheese on it ..yea... but on the other hand I have worked out every day of the week so.. we shall see!!!
really good website for calorie counting is http://www.caloriecount.about.com/. you can set up a profile and then log the food you eat every day.. The website is soooo cool you can put in like sugar free jello and it will pull up the nutritional value and calories and you can choose the oz or grams or cups or whatever measurement and how much you ate and it will calculate the calories!! you can even type in Mcdonalds fries and it will give you the whole shebang! It also grades the food so Mcdicks would be like a D- or F grade cause it's all just fried crap and broccoli would be like B-. It then gives you stats like if you have had too much carbs or too little fibre.. Seriously if you want to track what you eat and actually seeee what you're putting in your body check it out !!!

OKie doke so Sunday was sucha crappy day. I tried to go to the gym but my car decided to not work (-29 degree weather). So my husband jumped the car for two days and so now it's good. Went to the gym monday and today though yayyyyyy!!! I have not yet done a session with my trainer.. she's so booked solid I don't start with her till Feb!!!
It happened... I was approached by a muscley bound man who was not only that he was a douch bag too. I was workin on ma legs and the guy walked away fom the leg machine next to me so I moved on to that one .. and after my second rep he came up to me and was like :" uhhh so how long are u gonna be on that? Cause I was using that."
Now before you say oh he was just asking.. Think about this.. this douch bag thinks that he is entitled to a machine just cause he was there first?? I'm sorry we are in a gym helloooooo ! You share the equipment!If he had just stuck to hey how long r u gonna be? I would\ve been fine but I could care two shits if you WERE using the machine.. I'm on it now .. so wait!! It's just like men .. they like to mark their territory... If he didn't want anyone to use the thing while he walked away from it maybe he should've pee'd on it!
I ordered a new laptop the other day.. yea it was so flipping easy! In fact I had to log into the Dell website and make sure I actually ordered something! I just clicked a couple buttons and bango a laptop is being shipped to me next week! It's peacock in colour woohoo!!! I wish everything was as easy as that! Click I worked today, click I lost 50lbs, click laundry is put away ( no I haven't done that yet). I think that Apple or RIM (the ppl who make blackberries) shouldn't make another phone or IPOD I think they should make some special device that you can click to make my life easier .. almost like an EASY button!!!! Who's with me!!!
Oh I lost 3lbs last week. I had gained 2lbs the day before (I peaked :S) and I was sooo mad !!! I mean yea I wasn't just eatting lettuce leaves and an apple all day. But I was being aware of what I was eatting AND going to the gym too! I was so upset!!! But everyone was like muscle mass don't worry. But you know I was still fuming about it... So then I weighed myself on Saturday morning and the 3 lbs were gone!!! I'm hoping this week it will be more cause I haven't eatten any crap..
I don't know if anyone is even reading my blog .. but I watched the new show called Heavy.. And oh mmmmyyyy God!  It is sooooo inspiring! These people are at the highest possible weights and are doing something about it. They're not in a controlled space (except the first month) so it's more realistic. And I've now started watching The Biggest Looser.. I'm not crazy about the challenge parts but I love to watch the excercising and the weigh ins .. If you are trying to get fit or loose weight I fully suggest watching one of these shows.. or even Xweighted it's a Canadian show and is also your average weight loss no controlled spaces just doing it at home.

ok ok I'm sorry... Kinda didn't do a post since Saturday... :S I didn't think I had any other readers other than my sister and my husband who is too lazy to set up a profile to follow my blog (eye roll). Wednesday was ma birthday.. so yay! 26 ... 4 years to 30.. I'm so sick of people going ohhh you're on the other side of 25 and then evil laugh .. Whatever get over yourselves! no one wants to hear that it's not funny so stop it!
I had a meeting with my trainer yesterday morning.. yay I finally did it! And nowww she's not available for our first session till Feb:S So I'm trying to keep up with the working out until I can meet with her.
So tired I'm not even in the mood to type much more. I am pissy cause my husband who has a 5 star rating with his car insurance company which means absolutely FUCK ALL! (sorry for the swear)...found out that his insurance premiums increased 10 bucks a month! WTF!!! he's a great rating no accidents no problems and now he is paying more! Car insurance companies are full of crap and I seriously wouldn't have the damn stuff if it wasn't mandatory!
Did my presentation today at work and it went well. But I couldn't help but argue mentally with myself the entire time I was talking!!!!!! "shut up no one cares", "what do you know about this topic just stop while you still can." some of the things i was telling myself internally. I pushed it down though and just kept trying to tell myself that these people wanted to hear what I had to say and I was just going to say it !!
So I know what you are wondering... What did she get for her bday???!!!  I have to say I have some really awesome friends and my husband is alright... my good friends got me a case for my beloved Ipod Touch and also this cool thing called a Mighty Dwarf. It sounds nasty but I assure you google it .. it's the coolest frickin thing I've seen in a long time! My other friend got me a really pretty anklet bracelet and my husband got me a docking station for my Touch. it's so awesome considering I realllllllyyy needed a new clock.. My bedside clock had so much juice and sugary crap spilt on it I couldn't set the time any more the buttons stuck so bad..
I'm messy.. Oh and no I haven't put my clothes away yet :S

Saturday Night Dee dee da di da da da (It's an old dance song google it!)

grrrrrrrrrr been trying to do this post for the last 10 minutes and my laptop either has a moment of Aids or the charger is not conecting so here goes...
today was kind of a write off I couldn't sleep last night cause we decided to have coffee at 10pm so that we could stay up and watch "why did I get married too" at midnight. Sooooooo not worth it. I ended up chickening out at 1150 and we went upstairs to go to sleep and BANGOOOO the coffee kicked in and I was awake!
I ended up suffering through the stupid senseless movie in bed while my husband snored next to me. He woke up at the end of the movie as a result of crazy ass Janet Jackson breaking things and giving us an insider tour to her real divaish life.
I convinced him at 2am to go downstairs with me to get a snack. The only way I got that old man out of bed was by calling him an old man and instantly the testosterone kicked in and he had to prove to me he wasn't an old man. If you're interested I had cheese, crackers and kubasaw yummm.
I still couldn't sleep so I took a nyquil pill (i know bad but I soooo needed to sleep!). It knocked me out so bad I got up at 1030 am this morning!
Of course this ruined my gym idea it made me so slothy I couldn't get off the couch.
But I did do something positive today!! I get benefits at my work an if we don't use those benefits I get to claim any kind of gym programmes that I go through. So for the last few weeks I've been hemming and hawing about what to do with it. I was gonna try the P90X or Nurtrisystem or maybe Weightwatchers... I've been running them all past my hubby and he would go through the pros and cons and basically Nurtisystem would take up my entire allowance for the year in the 28 day programme :S $300 frick that's rediculous and all it really is is portion control for lazy ppl (please don't take offence if ure on it this is simply my opinion so deal with it!).
Weightwatchers is what uhhhh points and meetings.. Do you know how much it is for that for three months??? 62 bucks!!!! yea you should have to pay me to count points for everything I put in my mouth. And knowing me I would get sooooooo tedious and detailed I would phsyc myself out of it.... $62 wastedddddddd!
P90X was the only one left that I considered... If you don't know what this programme is you've been living under a very mossy rock. It's a series of dvd's focused on each area of fitness and apparently it is an ass kick in a box. It's at wally world (walmart) for like $140 and I considered buying it but I once bought this dvd for dancing fitness and tried it once for like 15 mins and it gathered dust until it was sold in a garage sale a year ago.
I finally decided on hiring a trainer.. I figure if I pay someone they will kick my ass and show me what I need to do to get into shape!
Movie night tonight with some lovely ladies from my husband's work.. We saw The Tourist with beautiful Johnny Depp and 'icky homewrecker' Angelina Jolie. I mean seriously the woman is a bag of bones she looks like an alien she is disgusting and needs some food ! The movie was suprisingly good.. If you like these two actors see it cause it's actually got some silly scenes.. I do, however, warn you, "icky homewrecker" is featured and there are some scenes that may make you slightly nautious.
By the end of the movie I was picking popcorn out of my chest. I seriously found a full kernel of popcorn in my boob that was edible (no I didn't eat it that's just gross).
We went to Timmy Ho's (Tim Hortons) for coffee.. Yea I had coffee once again late at night my poooooorrr husband.
Tomorrow I plannnn to go to the Rec Centre and sign up for that trainer and I hope to all hell they can kick my butt into gear. I ate way to much crap today... eggos, popcorn and choco covered almonds at the theatre. I had the most orgasmic sandwich today called "the new guy" it had genoa and capicolla and hot mustard and coleslaw. If you ever have another sandwich again you neeeedd to put coleslaw in it!!!!! It is the most ingenious idea I have ever seen! Cause really let's be honest here when you get your meal and there's a little itty bitty coleslaw in a plastic cup on the side do you eat it??? I'd like to open up a coalition to save the coleslaw!!!! PUT IT IN YOUR SANDWICH!!

day 2 of my Blog committment... almost didn't do it!

so my stupid cell phone had data failure and caused me to sleep in till 9am today ...To top things off work was absolutelyy inssannnnneeee. Glad it's the weekend and I can focus on going to the gym and maybe putting my clothes away..
I need to update my IPOD song list so bad.. I was working out on the bike today and spent more time searching through the bloody thing than actually working hard. No I worked hard too though. 15 mins of cardio and 50 sit ups on the balance ball and 30 reps of bosu ball twists... I am considering hiring a trainer.. I don't think I'm doing quite enough and would feel better with a professional telling me what to do.
As I'm trying to type this I am literally trying to get my fricking laptop to charge properly. We have sent this dinosaur in before for the charger not charging properly and it is once again giving me grief. To top things off it also has what I like to call Laptop Aids... It's hardrive (much like a nervous system) is slowly shutting down. The unfortunate thing for the nervous system is you can't replace it.. For me I can spend $40 and get a whole new harddrive and get my wonderful sister in law's fiance to transfer the contents over.. nice and easy right? have I mentioned I am a procrastinator???
I had to mentally fight with myself to not have sweets today! I work right next to a Subway which you would think "oh what is she complaining about.. perfectly healthy stuff there." THEY HAVE COOKIES!!! I think it's like 200 calories per cookie and they allllwayyyys try to get you to buy three. I had to bury myself in paperwork and phonecalls and customers so I didn't sucomb to my cravings... I did, however, have a veggie wrap with one strip of sub sauce..
My husband is watching the Leafs game tonight. They have these two team memebers with the last names Crab and Bozak but when the announcer says his name it sounds like Ballsack which my husband and I then joke about Crabs and Ballsack are playing tonight and makes me giggle for a bit.
And before you say Leafs suck! We are curently up 9 to 1. They're playing the Atlanta Thrashers mind you and this is the first time I've ever heard of this team:S
But  as I am discussing hockey (which I don't know a whollllleee lot about). I would like to touch on my love for goalies! I have no idea what it is about goalies but when they come out and score the ice it's my fav part of the game. I know I'm strange but I have a huge respect for a grown man who puts himself infront of a net to be pummeled with extremely very very fast black hard disks.
My fav goalie would probably be Whitley. "He's not an NHL goalie", you say. And I say "why yes you are correct!" He was the goalie for the Lakehead University ThunderWolves... The way he scored the ice was perfect he would score to the left and then to the right and then tap the top of his stick on one side of the post and the bottom on the other side and then do the butterfly stretch... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! so needless to say I like goalies...
